Sampler sketchbook
“Sampler Sketchbook” This series started as morning warmup drawings, inking out the shapes of musical equipment and documenting some music production techniques I was learning, like recording vinyl records to a vintage sampling keyboard. Alone in my creative space during the pandemic, I took the time to learn, practice and explore new skills. Many of my sketches became subject for digital drawings, animations and sequential art. In Spring 2022, I took a break from computer screens, exploring the same visual themes as I created these paintings. It’s been nice to rest my eyes and make a mess in the studio.
This is a selection of reproduction prints. These are not original paintings but giclee (inkjet) printed on premium luster photo paper. These ship from the printer, usually rolled, and are not framed. I’ve tried to choose common sizes for easy framing options. These prints can also be hung directly from clips or attached with poster putty; that’s up to you. Let me know if you’d like me to add a framed option. My idea is to offer these as affordably as possible. Please check HERE for very limited original art on wood panels and canvas.
